About the Position

We are building  one of Europe’s most distinctive strategic consulting platforms, combining deep expertise in German public affairs and communications with senior-level access across European and international policy-making. Headquartered in Berlin, we are opening a joint Brussels office to serve clients engaging with the EU institutions, NATO, and the wider Brussels ecosystem. 

As part of this new Brussels setup, you will join a growing advisory team at the intersection of politics, business, and strategic communications. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of our Brussels presence from an early stage, work closely with experienced senior advisors, and support clients in navigating complex European and international policy environments across public affairs, communications, and geopolitical strategy.

Your Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the day-to-day running of the Brussels Office, including office management, and facilities contacts 
  • Help to build out network and provide content and logistics support for meetings, events, and travel including with senior policy-makers in the tech, defence, energy and finance spaces
  • Provide for briefings and document preparation and research in substantive policy areas around tech sovereignty, the European defense market and elsewhere
  • Assist with coordination with the Berlin headquarters and group units
  • Maintain internal systems, files, and contact databases, and keep processes organised and up to date
  • Support research, monitoring, and the preparation of briefings and presentations across client projects 

Your profile

  • A completed  bachelor’s degree, ideally a master’s degree, or an equivalent qualification 
  • First practical experience through internships or working-student roles – ideally in a consultancy, public affairs, EU institution, politicial institutions, ministries, think tanks, or a comparable policy-oriented  environment
  • A strong interest in Europe and international policy-making, public affairs, strategic communications, geopolitics, and regulatory developments 
  • A good understanding of political and regulatory processes at EU and/or national level, or a strong motivation to quickly build expertise in these areas
  • Highly organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks and stakeholders at once 
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset and a willingness to take ownership of practical and administrative matters 
  • Confident communication skills and a professional, service-oriented manner 
  • Fluent English; French and/or German is a strong advantage given the Brussels and Berlin setting
